The Ballution Project
In this project a cloud of balloons was created and released. These balloons originated from the Alternator Gallery for Contemporary Art in Kelowna, B.C. They are part of a project to visualize pollution from cars in this community. Each balloon filled with helium carries a balloon with car exhaust. Participants attached their ideas about pollution to the balloons.
All materials in this project are biodegradable. The balloons are made of latex that degrades at quickly as a maple leaf, the paper, reused, and the string is bird friendly
